Insights on editorial decision-making and peer-review

Publishing a paper is an integral part of any professional academic career, and crucial for the advancement of science and medicine. The process, however, can be extremely stressful, full of unknowns, and unfamiliar expectations and procedures. How do you make your manuscript suitably compelling to get it published in a highly-ranked journal? The aim of the talk will be outline some of the key factors that influence an Editor's decision, editorial processes that affect success, pre- and post-acceptance procedures and expectations, changes in the oncology landscape, and how best to use these insights to your advantage.

In accordance with the established format of these talks, the second half of the session will be dedicated to a Question & Answers round with David, providing all participants with opportunity to put their comments and questions forward.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To secure your attendance please register online today.
